PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyfunctional epoxy silicone resin that has an excellent storage stability, has no stickiness at a normal temperature when it is turned into a cured product, exhibits an excellent strength, low curing shrinkage, transparency and excellent light resistance and is suitable as a resin for LED sealing material. SOLUTION: The polyfunctional epoxy silicone resin is obtained by polymerizing an epoxy group-containing trialkoxysilane mixed monomer which may simultaneously use a polyfunctional alkoxysilane monomer without gelation and end-capping a remaining alkoxy group and silanol group with a terminal blocking agent in which a crosslinkable substituent group is substantially only the epoxy group.
