PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a bottle neck in a series of operation for collecting sheets, aligning them and placing them on a delivery pallet by automating the operation for separating sheet bundles. SOLUTION: The sheet aligning method has an air blowing process for blowing air toward at least one of end surfaces of a sheet bundle and a sheet aligning process for aligning sheets of the sheet bundle by pushing the end surface of the sheet bundle, and the sheet aligning process is started after starting the air blowing process.
