PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction of the number of use since a roll rate sensor is expensive although the plurality of roll rate sensors are used in a rolling detection device for a conventional airbag device. SOLUTION: The rolling detection device is provided with a lateral direction inclination detection means 11 for detecting lateral inclination in the vehicle; a lateral direction acceleration detection means 12 for detecting lateral direction acceleration in the vehicle; lateral direction inclination information output means (19a, 19b) for outputting lateral direction inclination information regarding the lateral direction inclination in the vehicle based on the output of the other usage sensor used for the other system installed on the vehicle; and a vehicle rolling determination means 100 for determining rolling of the vehicle based on the outputs from the lateral direction inclination detection means 11, the lateral direction acceleration detection means 12 and the lateral direction inclination information output means (19a, 19b).
