PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a septic tank where the drift of the water to be treated in a first overflow weir is hardly caused. SOLUTION: The septic tank 1 includes: a precipitator 5; and a upper part opening type catchment box 9 comprising a first overflow weir 10 provided with first transfer parts 12 in which the water W to be treated from the precipitator 5 overflows in the width direction of the septic tank body, and a second overflow weir provided with a second transfer part in which the water W to be treated overflows to the downstream side.
