摘要 <p>The inventive feathering control surface relates to aircraft engineering, in particular to aircraft control means and can be used for designing pilot-controlled and pilotless airborne vehicles of any type and size provided with adjustable control surfaces in the form of feathering controls. The aim of the invention is to design a feathering control surface which makes it possible to efficiently control an aircraft at all possible angles of attack, including supercritical and to ensure a safe emergency landing under any kind of engine failure. The technical problem consists in producing an ascentional force on the main plane of a control surface dependent only on the quantity of the force applied to the control plane of the control surface and independent of the angle of attack of the entire aircraft. The inventive feathering control surface comprises two aerodynamic planes which make it possible to modify the mutual position thereof, the main plane being freely rotatable about the axis used for fixing it to a fuselage, the control plane being connected by means of pin joints to the main plane and a force being produced on the axis used for fixing the control surface to the fuselage by forming an angle of attack of the main plane of the control surface modifying the angle of attack of the control plane, i.e. by changing an angle between the chord line of the main plane and the chord line of the control plane of the feathering control surface.</p>
