A base station device notifies a mobile station of notification informati on as information relating to the maximum transmission power of the mobile s tation, and the mobile station performs up-link transmission based on the in formation relating to the maximum transmission power of the mobile station i n the notification information. In the case where a request to leak power to the adjacent systems is severe, the maximum transmission power of the mobil e station can be controlled to be reduced, and in the case where a request t o the leak power to the adjacent systems is not severe, the maximum transmis sion power of the mobile station can be controlled not to be reduced. Thus, based on an area where the mobile communication system is applied and variou s circumstances, an interference quantity to the adjacent systems can be fle xibly reduced.
