<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound playback system which does not generate clipping of an audio signal at an optional sound level and faithfully reproduces sounds, based on original audio signal at a listening location. <P>SOLUTION: The sound playback system is constituted, providing a first operation block 100 which calculates a first correction factor for generating a first reverse characteristic of frequency amplification characteristic with respect to an acoustic space; a second operation block 100a which calculates a second correction factor for generating a second reverse characteristic for suppressing amplitude to the frequency of the first reverse characteristic by a predetermined amount, at a part where the amplitude increases; a memory 8 which holds the first and second correction factors; and a selection means 9 for selecting the first or second correction factor held in the memory 8 based on the volume of the audio signal, while correcting the audio signal based on the first or second correction factor selected by the selection means 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
