PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only add color information to chart information but also to effectively use past data.

SOLUTION: An electronic medical chart apparatus comprises: an input means 2 for inputting chart information; a color setting means capable of setting a display color according to the type of the chart information input with the input means 2; a storage means 3 for storing chart information input with the input means and the display color set with the color setting means; a display means 1 for displaying the chart information input with the input means; a search means for searching the storage means 3 based on the display color set with the color setting means; and a display control means 4 for causing the display means 1 to display in the set display color an item including the display color set with the color setting means based on a search result with the search means.
