PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing device, a medical image processing method, and a program, which is capable of reducing user's burden of work of setting whether or not an automatic confirmation function is to be used.

SOLUTION: An image inspection device 20 sets selection information of whether an automatic confirmation processing or a normal confirmation processing is carried out for each signal receiving channel for receiving medical image data from a modality 40. The image inspection device 20 determines which processing of the automatic confirmation processing and the normal confirmation processing is executed based on the signal receiving channel that has received the selection information and the medical image data, and executes the process.
