<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver which can increase the travel speed of a driven member. <P>SOLUTION: The driver has an actuator 10 with a drive shaft 2 attached to a piezoelectric element 1 and expands and contacts the piezoelectric element 1, owing to the input a drive signal, and reciprocates the drive shaft 2, according to the expansive/contractive action of the piezoelectric element 1, thereby shifting the driven member 3. A pulse signal is used as the drive signal, and a half of a cycle time equivalent to the inverse number of the lowest resonance frequency in the actuator 10 is set as the output time which is shorter in the high output time and the low output time of the drive signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
