<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional inexpensive transmission and reception means used in ordinary remote-control communication wherein there is a limit in the volume of data obtainable in a batch manner due to restriction in the communication speed to make acquisition of data over a diversified scope difficult and acquisition of data by dividing data into data for after-service when failure occurs and data for periodic maintenance is difficult. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a code setting means for setting a demand code for the air conditioner when a remote controller enters an operation mode for maintenance/after-service by operating a specific button and is in the mode, and a display means for displaying an answer from an air conditioner main body for a transmission means or the demand code. The air conditioner is provided with a demand destination discriminating means for discriminating which of an indoor unit and an outdoor unit is the demand destination of the demand code from the remote controller, a demand code type discriminating means for discriminating the type of the demand code, a transmission means for transmitting to the outdoor unit by relay when determining that the demand destination is the outdoor unit, a transmission means for replying to the remote controller by relay with respect to a reply from the outdoor unit, and the display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
