PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a confocal microscopic system enabling an observer to observe a transmitted light image and a fluorescent image together with a confocal image with simple constitution. SOLUTION: The confocal microscopic system for observing the transmitted light image, the fluorescent image and the confocal image which are obtained from an observation sample includes: a confocal scanner unit having at least a microlens array disk and a pin-hole array disk, scanning an observation sample surface with a plurality of beam spots and also having a connection lens barrel for connecting a camera to take an observation image; a microscope holding the observation sample, irradiating the observation sample with observation light for observing a transmitted light image and exciting light for fluorescent observation and also having a port part for outputting the observation light obtained from the observation sample to the confocal scanner unit or the like; and a detour optical path unit selectively inserted between the port part of the microscope and the confocal scanner unit, branching the observation light from the observation sample and guiding it to the connection lens barrel in the confocal scanner unit.
