PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording type magnetic recording sheet, the magnetic recording layer of which is prevented from fading and blocking and the water resistance of the magnetic recording layer of which is improved. SOLUTION: The magnetic recording layer includes (1) methacrylic acid (salt), (2) a monomer A expressed by general formula (I), (3) a monomer B expressed by general formula (II), (4) a monomer C expressed by genera formula (III) and other ethylenic unsaturated monomer D copolymerizable therewith.
