PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sealability between a filter medium pack and a filter frame by suppressing deformation amount near both end parts in a filter medium replacing type air filter. SOLUTION: The filter 10 for air cleaning is provided with the filter frame 11 and a filter medium pack 40 disposed inside the filter frame. The filter medium pack 40 is supported on an inner peripheral face of the filter frame 11 via a cushioning material 30. The filter medium pack 40 is formed with a sheet-like filter folded into pleats along given folding lines, having a lot of pleat crests 41. Linear end part beads 45 are provided at respective vicinities of both end parts 40U, 40D on a front side 40F and a rear side 40B of the filter medium pack 40. The linear end part beads 45 connect apexes of adjacent respective pleat crests 41 and are continuously provided from a left side part 40L of the filter medium pack 40 to the right side part 40R and extended linearly.
