PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device which freely controls a slide load required for sliding a rolling type slide structure including a slide structure of rolling type, in a simple structure by changing the diameter of a rolling ball, and makes compatible a light slide feeling and a high-class heavy slide feeling. SOLUTION: A slide mechanism comprises: a ball-and-retainer, in which a plurality of balls are integrated, disposed on left and right sides of a case in a length direction; an M guide 210 fixed on a case frame of a lower case for guiding balls; and an R guide 220 fixed on a case frame of an upper case for guiding balls from an opposite direction of the M guide 210.
