PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system which can make a cancel while minimizing the risk that personal information is generated if data that an operator (meter reader) inputs using a terminal device has an error, a slip cancellation method, the terminal device used therefor, a program, a recording medium where the same is recorded. SOLUTION: The meter reader downloads customer data etc., from a server 30 and also inputs meter reading data using the terminal device 20, and prints and creates a slip (meter reading slip) by a printing means 24. If the input meter reading data has an error, the printing means 24 of the terminal device 20 paints out or overwrites customer's personal information parts to disable them to be read, thereby changing the slip into a cancel slip.
