PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a magnetization waveform of a magnet, accurately implement a stop location control when a current is not carried, and to improve a start-up property. SOLUTION: A rotor 2 has the annular magnet 12 disposed so as to surround first and second stator yokes 6, 8, and a frame 13 for holding the magnet 12. The magnet 12 is formed with the same number of the magnetic poles on a circumference as polar teeth in the stator yokes. The frame 13 has a flat plate 20 attached to a shaft 14 in the center, and a comb-like back yoke 21 comprising a plurality of combs disposed on a circumference of the flat plate 20 at regular intervals. Since the comb-like back yoke 21 is disposed so as to surround the magnet 12 and a boundary location of the magnetic poles in the magnet 12 faces a center location of the combs in the comb-like back yoke 21, magnetic flux densities of the magnetic poles in the magnet 12 are equalized, and the stop location control can be accurately implemented when the current is not carried.
