摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modification method of novel metal nanoparticles, and the modified nanoparticles obtained by using the method. SOLUTION: The method of forming the metal nanoparticles modified by ligand in a solid medium includes a step (1) of irradiating a solid medium containing the radical precursor generating the radical by photoexcitation and the metal ion or metal complex (M1) reduced by the radical and the metal ions (M2) not reduced by the radical and having the nature to be adsorbed on the surface of the metal nanoparticles with exciting light to create the metal nanoparticles derived from the metal ions or metal complex (M1), thereby forming the compound metal nanoparticles adsorbed with the metal ions (M1) on the surface, and a step (2) of adding the ligand having a chelate portion to the solid medium containing the compound metal nanoparticles to coordinate the ligand to the compound metal nanoparticles.
