PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like object guide device capable of guiding the object to a barrel delivering part while a signature swell being reliably suppressed. SOLUTION: A sheet-like object guide 11 having cutouts 111b-115b which are formed along a circumferential surface 15a of a gripping barrel 15, extending to the position at which downstream ends 111a-115a are advanced with a predetermined space to a recessed groove 16a circumferentially formed on a circumferential surface of a deceleration barrel 16, and provided with a claw part 161 being formed in a passing manner at the position corresponding to the claw part 161 is provided on an inlet side of a barrel delivering part provided with a gripping plate 151 and the claw part 161 for holding the signature on each circumferential surface to deliver the signature between the gripping barrel 15 and the deceleration barrel 16 adjacent to each other.
