PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank device capable of adding fuel, and preventing fuel from returning to or flowing out of an fuel-supply opening at the time of stopping supply of the fuel with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This fuel tank device has an fuel supplying mechanism 20 supplying fuel to a fuel tank 10, and a fuel blocking mechanism for blocking communication between the fuel tank 10 and the outside. The fuel supplying mechanism 20 has a check valve 30 opening and closing an output port 33b of a fuel supplying tube 21. The fuel blocking mechanism closes a first connection path 64a connecting inside of the fuel tank 10 and the outside by raising a float 67 up to a first liquid level FL1 of the fuel. Thereby heightens a tank inner pressure. The check valve 30 closes an output port 33b by a valve element 40 when reaching to a second liquid level FL2 higher than the first liquid level FL1. Furthermore, the fuel blocking mechanism closes a second connection path 71e when reaching to a third liquid level FL3 higher than the second liquid level FL2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
