PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enlarge a measurement range for spectrometry using an endoscope. SOLUTION: An electronic endoscope has a first light guide 52a. An outgoing end 52ao of the first light guide 52a is disposed on an insert tube. The first light guide 52a is fixed to the insert tube at a position closer to a connector than the outgoing end 52ao. A magnetic cover 61 is wound around the first light guide 52a. First to fourth magnetic coils 62a, 62b, 62c, and 62d face the magnetic cover 61. The outgoing end 52ao of the first light guide 52a makes spiral motion as drive current is fed to the first to the fourth magnetic coils 62a, 62b, 62c, and 62d. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
