PRETREATMENT SOLUTION, INK CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY, PRETREATED RECORDING PAPER, AND INKJET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment solution which enables attainment of a high printing quality and printed image quality in the case when an area including a recording portion of recording paper is pretreated prior to inkjet recording.

SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording, the pretreatment solution is provided for pretreating the area including the recording portion of the recording paper, prior to the inkjet recording. The solution contains particles and a solvent, and a contact angle of the pretreatment solution to the surface of the recording paper is 75 degrees or more.
