<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can be operated by an inexperienced user with ease without being confused. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU starts a timer in response to the operation of a menu button, and resets the timer by processing of step S506 to extend a time to finish-display only when a valid operation is performed. This achieves a display apparatus which is easy to use, prevents a menu from being not displayed even though a beginner performs operations slowly, and a menu screen is not displayed intentionally to warn a user when invalid operations are continuously performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
