<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring film which has a plurality of uniformly shaped cores, with the position of the cores arrayed with equal intervals in the width direction of the film, which makes a large area and a long size possible at a low cost, and which facilitates positioning in connecting to connectors by making use of ruggedness existing on the film surface. <P>SOLUTION: The optical wiring film is structured such that dispersed bodies (cores), having a cross sectional shape composed of a thermoplastic resin A to be cores surrounded by a thermoplastic resin B to be a clad, are extended in the longitudinal direction of the film and arrayed in the width direction of the film. There are at least five cores satisfying an expression (1): 0.8≤A/Ac≤1.2, where (Ac) is the cross section area of the core situated in the center of the film and (A) is the cross section of an arbitrary core arrayed in the width direction of the film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
