摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a solid-state laser excitation module excellent in absorption efficiency of excitation light in a solid-state laser rod. SOLUTION: The solid-state laser excitation module includes: an excitation resonator 2 at least having an upper surface and a lower surface of a polygonal column, at least one pair of incident side faces symmetric with respect to a center axis of the solid-state laser rod and having an acute angle as an angle formed from the center axis, and a pair of parallel side faces parallel to the center axis and connecting with the pair of incident faces; at least one pair of semiconductor laser devices 6a and 6b provided to be symmetric with respect to the center axis and respectively provided oppositely to the pair of incident side faces for emitting excitation light from the pair of parallel side faces toward the incident side faces; a pair of excitation light incident means 7a and 7b respectively provided between the excitation semiconductor laser devices and the incident side faces for modulating the excitation light emitted from the pair of laser devices into P-polarization light and making it incident to the pair of incident side faces with their respective Brewster angles; and a pair of excitation light reflecting means 8 respectively provided on the pair of parallel side faces for reflecting the excitation light incident to the excitation resonator.
