PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boiler disassembling method capable of avoiding boiler suspending work causing a danger, and performable without being hindered by a peripheral obstacle of a boiler. SOLUTION: A large opening part 30 is arranged by cutting off a lower end part of a furnace part 20, and a first supporting member 36 is fixedly arranged in a vicinal height position of the height of the lower end part 22a of a rear transmission part 22 inside of the furnace part 20, and a second supporting member 38 is fixedly arranged in the lower end 22a of the rear transmission part 22, and the first and second support receiving members 36 and 38 are respectively supported by a first support 40 and a second support 42, and the whole weight of the boiler 10 is supported. A suspending state by a hoisting accessory 14 is released, and a support position by the first and second supports 40 and 42 is lowered, and a boiler upper part residual part 10c is disassembled while maintaining a support state by repeatedly performing cutting disassembling work for disassembling by being cut from the lower end part side 10b.
