摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing composite nanoparticles having an FePt core/Co shell structure exhibiting excellent characteristics. SOLUTION: In the method for producing composite nanoparticles having an FePt core/Co shell structure where FePt core particles of nanosizes are coated with a Co shell, a polar solvent is added to a first solution in which FePt core particles previously subjected to heat treatment for forming a crystal structure exhibiting required characteristics are dispersed into a first organic solvent with a first dispersant, thus the first dispersant is peeled away from the FePt core particles, and the FePt core particles are flocculated and recovered, a zero-valent Co-containing compound as the precursor of a shell is added to a second solution obtained by dispersing the recovered core particles into a second organic solvent with a second dispersant, so as to form a Co shell on the surface of each FePt core particle.
