PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solubilization composition which meets the conditions required for SMEDDS preparations and can be applied to various drugs which are hardly soluble in water. SOLUTION: The solubilization composition comprises at least one oil based component (A) selected from an ester of oleic acid with a 1-3C alcohol and a triglyceride of a 6-12C fatty acid, a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester (B), a polyhydric alcohol (C) which is liquid at 15-25°C, and an acidic phospholipid (D) in which the fatty acid constituting the acy group is at least one kind selected from a 6-14C saturated fatty acid and a 16-18C unsaturated fatty acid and contains, on the basis of 100 wt.% in total of the components (A) to (D), 20-40 wt.% (A), 30-45 wt.% (B), 15-40 wt.% (C), and 0.5-4 wt.% (D).
