PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic having good extendability and spreadability at the use, and excellent stability with time without being thickened with time, and to provide a method for producing the oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic. SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsion cosmetic contains a component (a): phospholipid, a component (b): a 16-22C linear higher alcohol, and a component (c): a collagen, wherein, the component (c) is contained in the water phase at the emulsification.
