PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool capable of easily performing cleaning work of transparent side walls without forming any obstacle for pedestrians. SOLUTION: The cleaning tool comprises an expandable main rod 11, a handle 12 provided on an upper part of the main rod 11, a mop mounting part 13 provided on a part of the main rod 11 below the handle 12 and located opposite thereto, a caster 14 provided on a lower part of the main rod 11, a pedal part 15 which is provided on a lower end of the main rod 11, located slightly above a lower side of the caster 14 in a normal condition, and abutted on a step surface 33 when being stepped in, and a mop 20 mounted on the mop mounting part 13.
