PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which manages the frequency of sewing so as to eliminate excessive insufficient sewing by accurately counting the number of sewing lines formed per sewing object and the number of sewing objects, and a sewing machine with it. SOLUTION: The sewing frequency managing unit is provided with a setting device A for setting the frequency of sewing per sewing object, a setting device B for setting the number of sewing objects, a controller 5 which counts a signal generated as each one sewing line is formed and generates a control signal when the number set with the setting device A and/or the setting device B is reached and further, a recognizing device for notifying workers of the frequency of sewing and/or the number of sewing objects.
