An MRS(Mode Register Set) signal generator of a semiconductor memory apparatus is provided to control the width of an MRS pulse signal freely. An MRS(Mode Register Set) signal selection unit(200) generates a plurality of MRS selection signals to determine the kind of an MRS signal in response to an address. A pulse control unit(300) controls the width of the pulse by receiving an MRS command with pulse shape. An MRS signal generation unit(400) outputs the MRS signal in response to an enabled MRS selection signal among the plurality of MRS selection signals. |
