The safety device has two airbag-gas bags. The gas bags are arranged in a motor vehicle door (100). The gas bags are unfolded by a common opening (118) of a door armrest (104) of the motor vehicle door during unfolding. The safety device also has a curtain airbag or thorax airbag or pelvis airbag. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an airbag module (2) a motor vehicle door (3) a method for assembly of airbag module.
