The invention relates to a shoe particularly for sport or recreational activities that comprises an upper (2), a sole (3) and lacing means (4) with at least one tightening strap (5) extending through a gap (6) formed at the sole, and a tightening member (7). The invention is characterised in that the tightening member (7) is connected on the one hand to a first end (8) of the tightening strip (5) and, on the other hand, to a maintaining area (9) provided at the back of the shoe, the second end of the tightening strap extending through the tightening member (7) including an attachment means (13) on the upper (2) for attaching the strap (5), and the interaction between the tightening strap (5), the tightening member (7) and the maintaining area (9) resulting in the tensioning of the upper (2) at the instep and at the joint above the heel.
