SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT PROVIDING APPARATUS AND ITS PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service announcement server for providing a reception terminal with channel information distributed by a distribution server of IP broadcasting as a service announcement.

SOLUTION: The service announcement server 1 comprises: an address storage means 12 for storing the retrieval condition of the channel information and the address of the distribution server 3 by making them associate with each other; a presence information storage means 14 for storing the address of the distribution server 3 and the channel information by making them associate with each other; a request reception means 11a for receiving the retrieval condition from the reception terminal 4; an address retrieval means 13 for retrieving the address of a channel information distribution device from the address storage means 12; a presence information retrieval means 15 for retrieving the channel information from the presence information storage means 14 on the basis of the retrieved address; and a notice transmission means 11d for notifying the reception terminal 4 of the retrieved channel information.
