<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device which is hardly disconnected or the like and surely electrically connects with a mounting terminal even when a piezoelectric vibrating chip having a relatively thick piezoelectric blank is used. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device 10 includes a piezoelectric vibrating chip 20 comprising exciting electrodes 30a, 30b, supporting electrodes 34a, 34b, and conductive electrodes 32a, 32b, respectively, on both principal surfaces of a piezoelectric blank. The piezoelectric device is provided with: the piezoelectric vibrating chip 20 configured by employing the piezoelectric blank with a slope 28 formed at one predetermined edge; a principal surface of the piezoelectric vibrating chip 20 facing a mounting surface mounted with the piezoelectric vibrating chip 20, as an acute angle side principal surface 22b; and the slope 28 included within an application range of a conductive adhesive 50 for electrically connecting the supporting electrode 34a disposed on the acute angle side principal surface 22a and an internal mounting terminal 44a disposed on the mounting surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
