<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral preparation based on a liver function-ameliorating material aggressively reducing GOT and GPT in the blood, and useful for treatment and prevention of various kinds of diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The oil and fat composition or the food for ameliorating the liver function, containing the agent for ameliorating the liver function, containing 4-15 wt.% S2U-type triglyceride as an active ingredient in the oil and fat is obtained. In the formula, S is a 20-24C saturated fatty acid residue, and U is a ≥16C unsaturated fatty acid residue.
