<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of drains in a reformed gas pipe and an anode off-gas pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel treatment device 4 provided, in a heat-insulating vessel 20, with a reformer, a low-temperature shift converter, a CO selection oxidation reactor 7 and a burner of the reformer, and a polymer electrolyte fuel cell 1 is arranged in a housing 37, a reformed gas 14 reformed by the fuel treatment device 4 is delivered to the polymer electrolyte fuel cell 1 through the reformed gas pipe 15, and an anode off-gas 18 is guided to the burner 21 of the fuel treatment device 4 through the anode off-gas pipe 19, whereby a polymer electrolyte fuel cell power generation device is formed. The reformed gas pipe 15 and the anode off-gas pipe 19 are inserted and arranged in an exhaust duct 38 connected to an exhaust port 33 of the fuel treatment device 4 and a final exhaust pipe 39. Both the temperatures of the reformed gas pipe 15 and the anode off-gas pipe 19 are kept by heat remaining in combustion exhaust air 31a exhausted from the fuel treatment device 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
