<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storage system capable of suppressing power consumption necessary for temperature adjustment by adjusting the temperatures of a storage shelf for storing a recording medium and an information recording and reproducing device for recording/reproducing information in the recording medium to appropriate temperatures, and adjusting, when a plurality of storage shelves are present, the temperature of each storage shelf to an appropriate temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of storage shelves 14, 14, ..., and an information recording and reproducing device 5 are housed in a plurality of housing rooms 1, 1, ..., the storage shelves 14 and the information recording and reproducing device 5 are separated by a partition wall 2, the storage shelf 14 is housed in each housing room 1, and a plurality of temperature adjusters 3, 3, ... for adjusting the temperatures of the storage shelves 14 and the information recording and reproducing device 5 are disposed in the housing room 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
