<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the start and stop of an internal combustion engine from being frequently operated due to the charging/discharging of a secondary battery in a hybrid car loaded with a system for supplying power to a home electrical appliance. <P>SOLUTION: When AC supply power Wac is a threshold Wref1 or more, and a discharge power Wb is a threshold Wref2 or more, a value which is larger than a threshold Sset in a normal time is set as a threshold Shi (S150), and when the electricity accumulation capacity (SOC) of a battery reaches less than a threshold Slow, an engine is started, and power is generated by a motor MG1 by using the power from the engine, and the charging of the battery is started (S180 to S200), and when the electricity accumulation capacity (SOC) of the battery reaches the threshold Shi or more, the operation of the engine is stopped, and the charging of the battery is ended (S220, S230).
