<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and correct the display unevenness of an EL display device in real time by a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In a blanking period of a video signal, an element driving transistor for controlling a driving current supplied to an EL element is operated in its saturation region, and a cathode current in setting the EL element to an emission level is detected. Each current detection part 330 includes a current detection amplifier 370 and a successive approximation AD converter 380, and a DA converter 386 of the successive approximation AD converter 380 is shared among a plurality of AD converters 380, whereby current detection is executed to be able to correct the display unevenness while maintaining a sufficient AD speed with the simple configuration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
