PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn feeder for torchon lace machines capable of preventing damages of yarns in feeding with improved efficiency required for threading. SOLUTION: The yarn feeder includes a spindle body 11 on which a bobbin 1 is mounted, a slide guide 12 arranged to be drawn in almost the same direction as that of the shaft of the spindle body 11 and provided with a slide yarn port 13a, a yarn ejection port 13b and a final yarn port 13c in this order from below the drawing direction, a link member 14 for supporting the slide yarn port 13a to be vertically movable in the drawing direction of the slide guide 12, and a bobbin stopper 15 for fixing the bobbin 1 to the spindle body 11. The yarn 2 wound around the bobbin 1 is passed through the yarn ejection port 13a, the slide yarn port 13b and the final yarn port 13c in this order, subsequently fed to a knitting device of the torchon lace machine, and the slide yarn port 1a is constituted to vertically move along the slide guide 12 in association with the yarn 2 to regulate tension of the yarn 2.
