PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a beast repellent that is simply used, has small burden in operation, continuously provides prevention effect on beast damages and does not cause problems of adverse effects on plants and soil pollution by the repellent. SOLUTION: The beast repellent comprises a biodegradable resin, a substance having beast repellency and a liquid medium. The beast repellent comprises at least one kind selected from capsaicin, menthol, limonene, pyroligneous acid, bamboo vinegar and mustard as the substance having beast repellency.
