PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side stand capable of being more easily kicked up without transferring a pivoting foot when riding on a motorcycle. SOLUTION: In the side stand, a base end of a side stand body 39 extending to a lower one side of the motorcycle 1 provided with a front wheel 7 and a rear wheel 12 is turnably pivotally supported on a vehicle body and the distal end is contacted with ground and supports the vehicle body when the vehicle body is inclined to one side. An operation element 48 extending in the other side of the vehicle body is provided on the side stand 30, and by kicking the operation element 48 from the other side direction of the vehicle body by foot, the side stand 30 is kicked up.
