PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door sash for a vehicle door and a cutting method of the door sash for the vehicle door capable of cutting lower ends of a shock absorbing member retainer, a weather strip retainer and a glass run retainer by one time linear cutting work by a cutting tool without damaging a bag part. SOLUTION: The door sash for the vehicle door is provided with the bag part 32; the shock-absorbing member retainer 33; and a connector 34. The door sash is made to a shape that a part at the side continued to the shock absorbing retainer of the shock absorbing member retainer, the weather strip retainer and the glass run retainer and the connector is removed from a lower end of a lengthy article having a cross section shape that the connector is exposed while passing through a clearance between the bag and the glass run retainer viewed from an inner peripheral side of the door sash.
