LCD AND DRIVE METHOD THEREOF

An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to increase a response speed of the LCD device without using a high speed memory by sequentially supplying precharge data and actual data during a single frame driving period. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device(100) includes an LCD panel(110), a data driver(120), and a gate driver(130). Plural parallel lines are formed on the LCD panel. The data driver supplies precharge and actual data to the parallel lines one by one. The gate driver sequentially supplies precharge and actual scan pulses to the parallel lines. The data driver sequentially supplies the precharge and actual data of the same polarities to the respective parallel lines on the LCD panel. The gate driver sequentially supplies the precharge and actual scan pulses to the respective parallel lines.
