<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera, in which a part of the fundus that is far apart from the axis of vision can be observed without rotating or moving a main body of the fundus camera. <P>SOLUTION: The fundus camera is provided with an optical system for imaging the fundus of an eye of an examinee, an external fixed target 206 to direct the line of sight of the eye, and a chin rest 52 on which the chin of the examinee is placed.
