<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation of the transmission characteristics of radar wave without causing reduction in the appearance of the surface of a coating component. <P>SOLUTION: A bumper 10 for a vehicle is coated with metal and is made of resinous material, such as, polypropylene. A millimeter wave radar device 12 that is mounted on the vehicle and emits millimeter wave to the front side of the vehicle is installed on the back surface side of the bumper 10 for the vehicle, and the millimeter wave transmits the bumper 10 for the vehicle. An uneven shape 10A is formed in a part used as a route of the millimeter wave on the back surface of the bumper 10 for the vehicle, a plurality of crests of a height h within a predetermined range that includes the sum of 1/4 of wavelength λ of the millimeter wave and n/2 fold of the wavelength are formed in the uneven shape 10A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
