IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, SERVER DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system and the like capable of suppressing required maintenance and management from becoming more bloated and complicated in the case of increasing the number of installed image forming devices without deteriorating operation feeling of an image forming device which is usually used.

SOLUTION: In the image forming system, image forming devices 2-4 having at least one of an image reading function, a copying function and a printer function are connected with the server device 1 for controlling the image forming devices via a network 5. The server device 1 is provided with virtual image forming devices 40-42, 45, 46 structured by software as a control means for dominantly controlling the whole image forming devices and operates the image forming devices with an instruction of the virtual image forming devices to an operation instruction of a user input from an operation means 25 of the image forming devices. The image forming device behaves as if operating alone.
