PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complete an information recording to an optical disk and an information reproduction from the optical disk in a short period of time.

SOLUTION: When focus control of an objective lens 36 and tracking control are performed using a red light beam Lr1 to record information, recording information is divided, focal points Fb1 and Fb2 of blue light beams Lb1 and Lb2 based on divided recording information are respectively joined to first and second target mark positions PS1 and PS2 different from each other to mutually independently form first and second recording marks RM1 and RM2 and when information is reproduced, the focal points Fb1 and Fb2 of the two blue light beams Lb1 and Lb2 are respectively joined to the first and the second target mark positions PS1 and PS2 different from each other and reproducing signals obtained based on blue reproducing light beams Lb3 and Lb4 generated according to existence of the first and the second recording marks RM1 and RM2 are unified.
